Nicolas’s girlfriend Matilda has suddenly gone missing. A note says not to contact her, but he suspects something else is at play. Mysterious clues dapple his dreams and waking life; a phone call summons him to a stylish hotel, where he meets another woman with motives of her own. As Nicolas delves deeper into the circumstances of Matilda’s disappearance, the boundaries between reality and fantasy, past and future, love and absence become increasingly difficult to discern.
